Tahini-Dressed Chicken

Irresistible rich and creamy tahini dressing.

  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 lemon wedge
  • 2 tsp water
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 2 chicken
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 3 tsp weeknight hero spice blend
  • Step 1

    Pat the chicken dry with paper towels; season on both sides with salt, pepper, and enough of the spice blend to coat (you may have extra). In a medium pan (nonstick, if you have one), heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil on medium-high until hot. Add the seasoned chicken. Cook 6 to 7 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.* Leaving any browned bits (or fond) in the pan, transfer to a cutting board.

    Step 2

    Peel 1 clove of garlic. Using a zester, finely grate the remaining clove into a paste (or use the small side of a box grater). Quarter and deseed a lemon. In a bowl, whisk together the tahini, mayonnaise, soy sauce, the juice of 2 lemon wedges, 2 teaspoons of water, and as much garlic paste as you’d like.

    Slice the cooked chicken crosswise. Top with dressing and serve!
