  • 1 head lettuce
  • 2 oz dates
  • 3 oz radish
  • Step 1

    Cut off and discard the root end of the lettuce; roughly chop the leaves. Pit and roughly chop the dates. Halve the radishes lengthwise, then thinly slice crosswise. In a large bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, chopped dates, and sliced radishes.

    To the bowl of salad ingredients, add some vinegar and a drizzle of olive oil; season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat. Taste, then season with salt and pepper if desired.
